    You are The High Priestess

    Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

DO NOT USE UNITED CASH PAYDAY LOANS!!!!

Tuesday, July 17, 2007, 03:01 PM CST [General]

This may seem a silly thing to blog about, but if you are ever in a position to apply for a payday loan, DO NOT use these people, they will charge you through the nose and they do not accept phone requests. You MUST make any/all requests by fax or e-mail, and you are required to call them three hours after you send it (which you must do, of course, before the end of thier business day at 4:30) to make sure they got it. The "customer service" representatives are rude, unknowledgable, and enjoy cutting you off in the middle of a complaint. The past one I spoke to practically hung up on me after spending 10 minutes not letting me get a word in edgewise while she lectured me on my inability to understand the user agreement.
So, in closing, never use United Cash loans. If you are looking for a payday advance loan, I do reccomend Payday select; they are professional, courteous, and actually try to help you, not just get your money.

    Getting ready for Baby . . .

Wednesday, July 11, 2007, 05:30 PM CST [General]

    Dear Friends,
As you all know, we are expecting a baby boy in less than three
months, and we have officially begun the proccess of making our home
ready for him. The house in which we live is a great house, but has
not been well maintained and is currently no absolutely no shape for
a new baby (i.e. carpet has been victimized by a succesion of dogs
and spills, has taken on a life and intelligence of its own in
bacteria, and needs to go ASAP, several holes in walls, section of
ceiling falling down in baby's room, et cetera). The problem is
this . . . it is going to be much more work than we originally
planned!!! We ransacked Home Depot and were able to get all of the
supplies we need, but we are unable to have it all professionaly
installed (besides, Hans has the idea that he "can do it all himself"
    (Oy!!!).
In short, we need to repair/replace a few sections of drywall,
replace a section of ceiling, AND tear out carpet and install a
laminate floor in the lower level of our house as well as in the
baby's room. Due to time and space constraints we need to get these
things done as quickly as possible so that we can finish making the
    house baby-ready.
What I'm getting to is this; Teiwaz, the stubborn mule of a man
that he is, insists on doing all of this himself. Keep in mind that
he was recently hospitalized for back problems and is currently on a
rigorous spinal injection schedule as well as on the waiting list for
a surgery to fuse his lower spine. He refuses to ask for help, but I
decided that I am going to go over his head on this one.I tried to
help with some basic painting, but am almost seven months pregnant
and cannot do as much as I'd like, and Hans has forbidden me from
trying to help with the rest.
Raider has generousely offered to come down to San Antonio next
weekend, July 20th (also my birthday!) and help in any way he can. I
am asking that anyone else who would like to come that weekend to
help with this massive home improvement project please drop us a line
or a call and let us know. We can use all the help we can possibly
get and I would appreciate it more than you will ever know. We can't
give back much, but I can gueruntee for everyone a place to sleep,
plenty of food, and cold beer for the entirety of the weekend.
    Many thanks,
    -Rivkah
